The past is like a spiritual tree.

The past is simply that, the past. If we continue to live in it, the branches of our soul, remain unable to reach for the present and the future. The same is with people. Everyone has a past, everyone has a history, the question is? Did they learn from the past the make the ground fertile gain, for their inner spiritual trees to grow and reach for the light? While yes, some people burn bridges, and some people continue to make the same mistakes, this is a truth that remains a constant in the lives of those who are never inspired to reach for the light, and to inspire them, that often means, they have to see people doing DEEDS, that make them realize there are indeed still good people in this world. Sure some may take advantage, and it is very much okay to have boundaries, but the past is the past. It is what fertilizes the spiritual grounds within, so that your soul, like a tree, can grow, bloom, blossom, and spread your own seeds into the world, based on the deeds you have done.

The next time you hear about someone who had a rough life, made bad choices, remember, the past is the past. It is what that person is like, right now, in the present, that matters. Judging someone based on their past, when they have grown from it, and have made a better present for themselves, can be a form of spiritual harm. Do not let the shackles of the past, cloud your vision of today. Yes, be on guard, but also be looking for the new growth, vs the dead limbs that needed pruned away....
